Custom Outfit Terms & Conditions
1. Custom-Made Nature of Products
All custom outfits produced by Thilybee Boutique are made specifically according to the client’s requested design, fabric selection, and measurements. Due to the personalized nature of these garments, they cannot be resold and therefore do not qualify for refunds or returns.
2. Measurements
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete measurements when placing a custom order.
Thilybee Boutique will not be held liable for fitting issues resulting from incorrect measurements supplied by the client.
If measurements are taken directly by Thilybee Boutique, reasonable care will be taken to ensure accuracy.
3. Design Approval
Before production begins, the client must confirm and approve the following:
- Design style
- Fabric selection
- Color
- Length and fit preferences
- Any additional customization
Once the design has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges.
4. Deposits and Payments
A non-refundable deposit (minimum 50%) is required before production begins. This deposit covers materials, fabric sourcing, and production time.
The remaining balance must be paid before collection or delivery of the finished garment.
5. Alterations
If the garment requires adjustments due to workmanship by Thilybee Boutique, the client may request reasonable alterations within 3 days of receiving the item.
Alterations requested after this period or due to weight change, incorrect measurements provided by the client, or design changes may incur additional charges.
6. No Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of the garments:
- Refunds are not permitted once production has started.
- Deposits are strictly non-refundable.
- Completed custom garments cannot be returned for a refund.
7. Fabric & Color Variation
Fabric prints and colors may vary slightly due to:
- Fabric batch differences
- Lighting and photography
- Screen display differences
Such variations are not considered defects.
8. Client Fabric Cutting & Order Commitment
When a client provides their own fabric for a custom outfit, the fabric will be measured, marked, and cut specifically for that client’s garment once production begins.
By approving the design and allowing Thilybee Boutique to begin cutting the fabric, the client acknowledges that the material cannot be restored to its original condition.
If the client decides to cancel the order after the fabric has been cut or production has started, the following conditions apply:
- The client remains fully responsible for the cost of the tailoring service.
- The client cannot request compensation or payment for the fabric used.
- The client cannot refuse the garment on the basis that the fabric was used, as cutting the fabric forms part of the approved production process.
- The garment will be considered completed specifically for the client.
If the client refuses to collect the finished garment, Thilybee Boutique reserves the right to dispose of or resell the garment after a reasonable holding period.
9. Fabric Damage Protection
When a client provides their own fabric for a custom outfit, Thilybee Boutique will handle the material with the highest level of care during cutting, sewing, and finishing.
However, due to the nature of tailoring and fabric handling, minor damage, defects in the fabric, or cutting errors may occasionally occur.
By submitting fabric for a custom order, the client acknowledges and agrees that:
- Thilybee Boutique is not responsible for hidden fabric defects, weaknesses, or flaws in the material supplied by the client.
- In the rare event that fabric becomes damaged during production, Thilybee Boutique’s liability will not exceed the cost of the sewing service.
- Clients are encouraged to provide extra fabric (recommended: 0.5–1 meter more than required) to allow for adjustments or unforeseen issues.
10. Production Time
Production timelines will be communicated to the client at the time of order. While Thilybee Boutique aims to meet agreed timelines, delays may occur due to material availability or workload.
11. Rush Order Conditions
- Rush orders are subject to availability and may not always be accepted depending on the current workload.
- An additional rush fee will be charged for priority production.
- The rush fee covers adjustments to the production schedule and additional labor required to complete the garment within a shorter timeframe.
Rush Fee Structure
- 1–3 day completion: +30% of the sewing price
- Next day: price determined by Thilybee Boutique
- We do not offer same day tailoring
12. Order Acceptance
By placing a custom order, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
